What can I do with wheat paste art?
In Philly and other cities worldwide, wheat paste art is popularly used to raise awareness about important social and environmental issues, market products and services, and promote art in public spaces. It can last anywhere from a few days to several months. It has a lot to do with where it is placed, how the weather behaves, and other variables that are usually beyond the artist’s control.
Are there ways to protect wheat paste from the elements?
Some precautions can be taken to make wheat paste last as long as possible. For example, placing the wheat paste on a wall that can’t be reached by bad weather will naturally improve its lifespan. But remember: wheat paste is meant to be enjoyed in the moment. If you’re looking for something more permanent, consider our mural painting services.
