Public Art | People’s Emergency Center

We approached this public art project with a tremendous sense of pride and responsibility to the people who occupy the West Philadelphia neighborhood. We worked to reflect its long striving history, which spans from The Back Bottom to Powelton Village. The goal for the mural was to offer the vibrancy that animates Powelton’s everyday people as a breathing ornament from which to draw motivation and remind us that being in community demands collaboration.
