Our multi-talented team talented team specializes in Graphic Design, Website Development, App Development, Marketing, Brand Identity, and Large Scale Art Solutions. For a complete list of our services, please visit creativerepute.com/service.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How did Creative Repute begin?”]Creative Repute is the brainchild of Philly-born visual artist, Nile Livingston. Nile understood that art, for her was a means to transcend, organize, and orient people toward new realities. Nile used mural design and digital art to grab people’s attention. And once their audience’s attention was deployed in one direction, Nile began asking, where do we want to go, and how can we stand in relation to one another? Using imagery & understanding of an audience as a way to curate encounters extended Nile’s work from a solo practice into a Creative Repute project, where a deep bench of specialists work together to get a read on how healthy or generative a story, design, or creation can be to get a pause on the state of the world. Understanding the power of visuals ultimately charters the Creative Repute team through/to successful and fulfilling morally-aligned client projects. [/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Why are you called Creative Repute?”]Before forming Creative Repute Design Agency, Nilé worked as a freelance Graphic Designer and her clients called her “The Creative” department. Creativity and artistry are the keynotes behind the culture at Creative Repute.
Repute is short for reputation or reputable. Because we focus on brand identity, we need to consider the client’s current reputation and the impact our work can have.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What makes Creative Repute the best design agency?”]Formed in 2017, Creative Repute, is a website/app development, graphic design, and marketing company that boasts an impact-driven vision informing its work and hiring practices. As a black-queer person, Nile is intimately aware of the disproportionate representation of multiple-marginalized people in their industry: as of 2022, “76.1 % of all US graphic designers are white, and only 12% identify as LGBT+.” This glaring lack of diverse perspectives is one central issue Creative Repute actively challenges. By hiring an expansive range of creatives, the company occupies its own, unique lane, which cultivates culturally competent work in a business world growing increasingly dependent upon visuals and seeking to keep pace with a necessarily progressive culture. The company has spearheaded captivating and relevant visuals and energizing platforms for companies whose heft ranges from using 100% of it’s funds for mission-aligned change, like the Nathan Cummings Foundation, to highlighting scholarship from marginalized persons with Colored Convos Media. [/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What are some notable web design projects you have accomplished?”]To highlight a few projects:
We worked with Urbane Development to create “Built by Philly,” a microsite that features Philadelphia business owners of color. This site serves as an effort to provide more support to entrepreneurs of color in the region. Please follow this link to review: builtbyphilly.org.
Creative Repute was hired to develop the exhibition’s branding, design marketing materials, assist with the layout design and installation of the exhibit, and design and develop a website that summarizes and introduces the archival research work done by the eight fellows. Please follow this link to access the website: chroniclingresistance.org.
Another fun client project is the website for Colored Convos Media, which is an uplifting publishing space where Black and queer stories are no longer marginalized. Their mission is to help these creators earn money while cultivating their talents in writing and other media. Follow this link to indulge: coloredconvos.com.

[/vc_toggle][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_toggle title=”How do you keep clients updated through project completion?”]In addition to check-ins throughout the week, we email our clients a Progress Report every Monday detailing our work and proposing the next steps. The Monday Progress Report will give you additional opportunities to ask questions, offer feedback, pause our work, change direction, and remain aware of what’s happening every step of the way. During client onboarding, we pinpoint who on your team should receive the Monday Progress Report and who will be our main point of contact for each check-in. [/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What is the difference between a Brand Audit and Discovery Process?”]First, we schedule a kickoff call with your team’s primary decision-makers to go over a Brand Audit, allowing us to ask questions and gather resources that will then guide the Discovery Process. This is when we fill in the gaps with information you may not have been aware of during the initial Brand Audit. For example, we may examine a heat map to see what information people use the most on your current website, which will help us make a more accessible and engaging design. We may also create user personas based on the Brand Audit conversation and website analytics to bridge any gaps between your assumptions or goals and who your audience truly is. If you have any questions about this process, please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask; it’s tailored to each client’s needs. Email sales@creativerepute.com to learn more. [/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What form(s) of communication do you use to keep clients updated?”]During onboarding, clients are sent a “Communication preference form” that asks questions to help us ensure we’re communicating most effectively. We pair clients with Project Managers and team members that match their preferred communication style. Different clients may prefer Zoom, phone calls, texts, emails, etc. We also gauge if clients prefer long details messages or brief points. We learn the client’s work hours to align our timeline with the client’s response capacity. We sometimes send videos, links, spreadsheets, and screenshots so you may review progress when it is most convenient for you. All scheduled meetings are followed up with an email to keep a record of what was discussed.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What does website design include?”]Our Discovery Process for website development is in-depth, allowing us to narrow down the direction of a design. We review analytics to see how users use your website or engage with your online presence if there is one, clarify your goals, collect information and content, and more. We break down website development projects into milestones or phases so that we can take incremental steps and ask for feedback each step of the way. We usually present one design we recommend as the most impactful and efficient based on the data collected during Discovery; however, we will still be open to feedback and adjustments even after the design is presented to ensure the direction meets your needs and expectations. We’ll construct a sitemap to plan page count and flow. Then we move into a wireframe so that we can have a sense of what content needs to go on each page. From here, we consider styling, visuals, UX, etc. You may find a general overview of this process here.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Can I join the Creative Repute team?”]Check out our Linkedin for open positions within the company.[/vc_toggle][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
