About Seal Design
The Ubuntu Center hired Creative Repute to design and refine several marketing tools including a Seal. A seal is a graphic that shows authenticity, demonstrates officialness, and encompasses founding principles. As part of Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health (DSPH), The Ubantu Center wanted a design that allowed them to stand out as their own entity while incorporating a look that didn’t stray too far from Drexel’s standard colors and overall look.
Three words drove the development of Ubuntu’s Seal: Inspire, Inform, and Invite. Through research and meeting with The Ubuntu Center’s leadership team, Creative Repute created designs that elevated the Center’s graphics and represented their mission. With meaningful engagement in the local, national, and global communities they serve, it was imperative that our designs exude feelings of collective action, community equity, and commitment to the cause.
Ubuntu’s Mission
The DSPH Ubuntu Center’s Mission is to unite diverse partners to generate and translate evidence, accelerate antiracist solutions, and transform the health of communities locally, nationally, and globally. A pillar in the community, Ubuntu aims to furnish an environment and infrastructure to forge ahead on the path to collective anti-racism education, training, and action. The seal represents the interconnectivity between people. The seal’s symbolism is to announce that we are strong together. The Center uses the seal on their website, newsletter email templates, center gear, quarterly and annual reports, public events, and workshops.
