When Link Logistics reached out, they weren’t looking for traditional corporate artwork. Their Fort Washington, Pennsylvania office featured three long curved walls that connected multiple workspaces, and they wanted an installation that felt energetic, local, and human. After discovering Nile Livingston’s work, founder of Creative Repute, the Link Logistics team invited her to develop a mural that could be reproduced as a large-format wallpaper installation spanning all three architectural surfaces.
The result became We Are All Connected: a vibrant collage celebrating Philadelphia, community, movement, and the people who shape the neighborhoods where we live and work.
About Link Logistics
Link Logistics is one of the largest owners and operators of last-mile logistics real estate in the United States. The company develops, owns, and manages industrial properties that help businesses move goods closer to the communities they serve.
Their facilities support the infrastructure behind everyday commerce by providing warehouse, distribution, and logistics spaces for companies across the country. While much of their work happens behind the scenes, their buildings play a critical role in keeping local and national supply chains moving efficiently.
For their Fort Washington office, Link Logistics wanted artwork that reflected the communities connected through those logistics networks rather than another generic corporate hallway.
The Challenge
The project involved three connected curved walls totaling nearly 90 feet in length.
Rather than treating each wall as an individual piece, the artwork needed to function as one continuous visual experience that employees would encounter while walking through the office. Early conversations explored creating an entirely new mural, but after reviewing Nile’s existing Neighborhood Series, the Link Logistics team chose to license and expand that body of work into an environmental installation tailored specifically for their office. The project evolved from a completely custom commission into a licensed adaptation that reorganized and formatted the artwork for the architectural space while weaving an inspirational central message throughout the design.
The Creative Direction
The mural celebrates what logistics ultimately serves: people. The composition combines recognizable Philadelphia imagery with portraits, neighborhood architecture, transit, animals, artists, musicians, families, and everyday moments.
The phrase “We Are All Connected” became the conceptual anchor tying the three walls together.
As employees move through the hallway, the artwork unfolds like a visual narrative rather than a repeating wallpaper pattern. Every section offers new details to discover while reinforcing the central idea that cities, neighborhoods, businesses, and communities depend on one another.
Design Process
Creative exploration included multiple approaches to the typography and overall composition.
Concepts ranged from bold comic-inspired lettering to playful ribbon treatments, expressive script typography, rounded modern forms, and dimensional lettering. Each explored a different emotional tone while preserving the same central message.
The team also evaluated how each option would interact with the surrounding illustrations and remain readable from multiple vantage points along the curved hallway. By testing multiple typographic systems before final production, the mural remained highly legible across a large architectural installation while complementing the expressive line work of the original artwork.
Environmental Graphics at Scale
Large-scale artwork requires far more than creating an illustration.
Every element must be carefully organized, layered, and prepared for production so that installers can reproduce the artwork accurately across architectural surfaces.
As part of the project, Creative Repute prepared production-ready artwork designed for environmental graphics and large-format printing, ensuring the installation could be reproduced cleanly across the three curved walls while maintaining the integrity of the original illustrations. The agreement included licensing the Neighborhood Series artwork for this specific installation, development of mockups, layered production files, and delivery of print-ready assets by the end of the project timeline.
The Result
The finished installation transforms a transitional office corridor into an immersive experience.
Employees encounter a colorful celebration of neighborhood life that reflects connection, creativity, diversity, and movement. The mural encourages people to slow down, notice details, and recognize that every community, and every person, is part of something larger.
It demonstrates how environmental graphics can reinforce company culture while making everyday workplace experiences more memorable.
