Creative Repute supported Impact Charter School West across multiple areas, including printed materials, photography direction, website strategy and development, content organization, and internal tools. Each piece was developed in relation to the others, with the understanding that families experience a school through a combination of touch-points rather than a single interaction. The objective was to remove inconsistencies, reduce confusion, and create a system where every output reinforces the right message. Instead of adding more materials into an already active environment, the work focused on bringing structure to what already existed and building what was missing to support enrollment in a practical, repeatable way.
Designing Printed Materials for Direct Use with Families
Creative Repute designed folders and templated inserts for situations where families are receiving information quickly, often in person, and need to understand what the school offers without additional explanation. The layouts were structured to guide attention intentionally, prioritizing what matters most while removing unnecessary language and visual noise. Messaging was revised to avoid references that would become outdated within a year, allowing the materials to remain usable without constant redesign and updates.
This work extended to a branded retractable banner that was designed for ICS West to use at outreach events and community fairs, giving the school a polished, recognizable presence in the spaces where families are actively making school decisions. The banner carried the same visual language as the folders and printed inserts, ensuring that every in-person touchpoint felt like part of the same intnetional system.
Production was treated as part of Creative Repute’s design process, not an afterthought. Decisions around color usage, interior fills, and layout density were evaluated against printing costs and vendor limitations, ensuring that the school could produce these materials consistently without creating financial strain. The final outcome is a set of materials that are clear, durable, and easy to produce and distribute, designed to function in real conditions rather than exist as static design files.
Establishing a Visual Language Through Photography
Photography was led and executed as a core part of the system. We selected two photographers from our trusted partner network, each chosen for a distinct approach, and coordinated two separate shoot dates to capture a broader range of moments and visual perspectives. This ensured the final library would not feel one-dimensional and could support multiple use cases across print, web, and future campaigns.
We directed the process from the start. This included touring the school to understand the environment, building a detailed shot list, and identifying the specific moments that needed to be captured to accurately represent the student experience. On-site, we actively directed each scene, adjusting positioning, correcting clothing when needed, refining backgrounds, and managing lighting and color to maintain consistency across both shoot days. The goal was to capture real interactions with intention, not to stage moments, but to ensure they were documented clearly and consistently.
After both shoots, we led the review and selection process with the ICS West team, narrowing down the strongest images based on composition, expression, and usability across formats. We conducted quality checks, coordinated touch-ups, and handled color correction to ensure the final set met a consistent standard despite being captured by two different photographers.
The selected images were then integrated directly into the website, printed materials, and broader marketing deliverables, reinforcing alignment across all outputs. The result is a structured, high-quality image archive that ICS West can rely on for near-future initiatives without needing to restart the process, giving the school a flexible and consistent visual foundation moving forward.

Structuring the Website Around How Families Make Decisions
The website was approached as the primary tool for enrollment. The work began with a web-safe style guide and extention of the client’s branding. Then Creative Repute’s team dove into structure, the site map, intention, and wire-framing. Families visiting the site need to understand what the school offers, how it operates, and how to apply, without having to search through unnecessary content. The website was designed with the intention of increasing enrollment and offering information to people encountering ICS West for the first time.
We worked with the ICS West team to define the purpose of each key page, including Home, Enrollment, and News & Events, and to determine what information, particularly content and copy belongs on each page. Navigation was simplified to reduce the number of decisions a user has to make, and content was reorganized so that related information is grouped logically.
Calls to action were placed where users naturally look for next steps. This approach ensures that the website functions as a tool, not just information. It gives families the power to take action and enroll their students.

Converting Disconnected Content Into a Usable System
A significant portion of the work involved organizing content that existed across multiple formats and establishing a a clear system. Policies, documents, and resources were stored in different locations, often with overlapping or outdated versions, making it difficult for both families and staff to find what they needed.
We worked through these materials with the ICS West team to determine what should remain, what should be removed, and how each item should be positioned within the website. Content was mapped to specific pages, links were verified, and structures were created to support future updates without reworking the entire system.
This process reduced redundancy and created a clear relationship between internal documentation and public-facing content. The result is a system that is easier to manage and more reliable for users.
Executing a Website Build Within Technical Constraints

The build process required working within an existing WordPress environment that limited customization and required careful coordination around access and hosting. We secured backend access, evaluated what could and could not be modified, and continued development through work arounds discovered.
Search engine optimization was integrated to improve visibility in search results. Accessibility standards were applied to ensure that content is usable across devices and by a wide range of users. Dynamic content areas were created so the ICS West team can update enrollment dates, events, and other time-sensitive information without developer involvement.
An internal development tracker outlines the scope of this work in detail, covering homepage interactions, navigation systems, policy linking, event uploads, and future scalability considerations. The site is built to function under current constraints while allowing for expansion without rebuilding from scratch.
Extending the System Into Daily Communication

To address inconsistencies in staff communication, we developed a custom email signature generator integrated into the ICS West website. This tool allows staff to generate standardized signatures with the correct formatting, contact information, and branding without manual setup.
The purpose was to eliminate variation across staff communications and ensure that every email sent from the school reflects the same level of organization as the website and printed materials. A tutorial was provided so the team can manage the tool independently, reducing reliance on external support.

Working Within the Client’s Operational Structure
ICS West operates with multiple stakeholders involved in decision-making, including leadership, operations, and enrollment staff. Feedback needed to be gathered, reviewed, and consolidated before changes could be finalized.
We structured communication to accommodate this process. Materials were shared in formats that could be forwarded internally without modification, and timelines were adjusted to allow for multi-step review cycles. Meetings were used to resolve specific questions and confirm direction, while asynchronous communication allowed the team to respond within their existing workload.

This approach ensured that the work moved forward without bypassing the client’s internal process.
Delivering a System That Supports Enrollment
The final outcome is a connected system where each component supports the others. Printed materials communicate clearly and remain usable over time. Photography is professional, authentic, and consistent across platforms. The website is structured to guide families through the enrollment process. Content is organized and maintainable. Internal tools support consistent communication.
Each element was developed with a defined role, reducing overlap and eliminating unnecessary complexity. The system functions as a whole rather than a collection of separate pieces.
Making It Easier for Families to Take Action
Families evaluating a school need clear information and a direct path to the next step. When content is structured properly and presented without friction, the decision-making process becomes more efficient.

This work aligned ICS West’s printed materials, photography, new website, content systems, and internal tools into a single, functional system. Deliverables included final folder designs and insert layouts for in-person distribution, a branded retractable banner designed for event and community outreach use, a fully directed and executed two-day photography initiative with two photographers resulting in a curated and edited image archive, and the integration of those assets across all marketing materials. We structured and developed the website across key pages including Home, Enrollment, News & Events, Families, Policies, Careers, and Contact, alongside a full content audit, content mapping, and resource organization system that consolidated documents, links, and internal materials into a usable framework.
On the technical side, we handled platform setup, theme and Elementor configuration, responsive layout implementation, homepage carousel and content modules, policy and resource linking systems, event and news upload functionality, dynamic enrollment date modules, SEO setup through Yoast, Google Analytics and Search Console integration, accessibility adjustments including alt text and responsive testing, and full launch preparation with QA and deployment. We also developed and deployed a custom email signature generator tool directly on the ICS West website, along with a tutorial system for staff adoption, and provided ongoing coordination, project management, and post-launch support planning.
Each component was developed with a defined role, reducing gaps between channels and ensuring that families encounter the same level of clarity at every touchpoint. The system supports enrollment by removing barriers between interest and action.
